We have finished our first two full days of first grade and what a busy and happy few days they have been! We have been learning and practicing our daily routines and classroom rules! We read the story No David,and talked about what rules we should have in our classroom to keep everyone safe and happy! We also read the story Chrysanthemum, which is about a little mouse who gets teased about her name at school! She learns that it is ok to be different and to be proud of who she is! I have so greatly enjoyed getting to now each unique and special child in my class!
